Case Study: UX design of consumer drones
During the early days of Skydio’s autonomous consumer drone development, their hardware engineering team had difficult decisions to make about selecting and configuring propellers. I worked with the hardware engineering team to develop user research protocols and metrics for evaluating the noise of their propellers so that they could evaluate and compare different versions of hardware against each other. I conducted the initial literature reviews and ran the first user study to get the team up and running.
